Our Men's Fellowship recently returned from a meaningful mission trip to Kerrville, Texas, where they spent several days serving families and communities impacted by devastating floods. Guided by this year's theme, "On His Majesty's Service" from Romans 12:13, the team answered God's call to serve with compassion, humility, and practical love.
Throughout the trip, the men partnered with local relief efforts to help rebuild homes and restore properties damaged by the floods. From clearing debris and assisting with construction projects to encouraging homeowners and working alongside other volunteers, every act of service reflected Christ's love in action. Their willingness to sacrifice their time and energy became a tangible expression of hope for families working to rebuild their lives.
Beyond the physical work, the mission trip became a time of spiritual renewal and brotherhood. As the men prayed together, worshiped, shared meals, and encouraged one another, they experienced firsthand the strength that comes from serving alongside fellow believers. The challenges of the work only deepened their faith and reminded them that God often uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things for His Kingdom.
The trip also reinforced the mission of our Men's Fellowship; to develop men who faithfully follow Christ, lead their families with integrity, and serve both the church and the community with courage and compassion. Serving in Kerrville was more than completing projects; it was about being the hands and feet of Jesus to those facing difficult circumstances.
We are grateful for every man who participated, everyone who prayed for the team, and those who supported the mission through generosity and encouragement. Your partnership made this opportunity possible.
As our team returned home, they brought back more than memories; they returned with renewed hearts, stronger friendships, and a deeper commitment to serving wherever God calls. We praise God for all He accomplished during this mission trip and look forward to seeing how He continues to use our Men's Fellowship to make a lasting impact both in our local community and beyond.
