Rooted DiscipleShip Pathway

"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him..." Colossians 2:6-7

At All Nations, discipleship is not a one-time event, it's a lifelong journey of becoming more like Jesus. Our Rooted Discipleship Pathway is designed to guide both adults and youth through a transformative process of spiritual growth, grounded in Scripture, community, and a deeper relationship with God.

ADULTS: The Rooted Pathway

Our adult discipleship journey includes five progressive studies that build upon each other, helping you grow in faith, identity, and purpose:

1. Rooted

The Foundation of Discipleship

Rooted is the starting point. It introduces foundational truths of the Christian faith, focusing on understanding God, growing in prayer, studying Scripture, and discovering your identity in Christ. It’s where spiritual transformation begins—through community, teaching, and powerful spiritual rhythms.

2. Story of God

Seeing the Big Picture

This study helps you explore the full narrative of Scripture—from Genesis to Revelation—revealing how God has been pursuing His people with love and purpose throughout history. Discover where your story fits into His greater story.

3. Image of God

Understanding Who You Are in Christ

A deep dive into what it means to be created in the image of God. This study brings clarity to your identity, purpose, and calling as His image-bearer and how to reflect Christ in everyday life.

4. Life in the Rhythm

Living as a Disciple Every Day

An in-depth study of spiritual rhythms and disciplines that cultivate a Christ-centered life—prayer, Sabbath, simplicity, generosity, service, and more. It’s about aligning daily life with the way of Jesus.

5. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality

Emotionally Healthy Spirituality uncovers the deep connection between emotional health and spiritual maturity. The book challenges the belief that we can be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. Through biblical insights and personal stories, it helps readers identify unhealthy patterns, slow down for deeper self-reflection, and develop a more authentic relationship with God and others. It's a practical guide for breaking free from what holds us back and embracing a transformed, deeply rooted life in Christ.

For Youth: The Student Pathway

Our youth discipleship journey is tailored to meet students (ages 12–18) where they are—with studies designed to anchor their faith and identity in Christ:

1. Rooted Essentials

Foundations for Faith

A youth-friendly version of Rooted, this study introduces students to the basics of Christianity, their identity in Christ, and how to walk with God personally and in community.

2. Story of God – Students

Understanding the Bible’s Grand Narrative

This version of Story of God is adapted for teens, helping them grasp the Bible’s overarching story and how it speaks to their life, choices, and purpose today.

3. On The Table

Conversations that Shape Faith

"On the Table" is a practical and engaging discipleship resource designed to help students grow deeper in their faith through honest conversations, biblical truth, and real-life application. Each lesson invites students to bring their questions, doubts, and experiences “to the table,” where Scripture guides the discussion and points them toward Christ.

4.  Surviving Religion

Finding Faith Beyond the Rules

"Surviving Religion" is a discipleship resource for students who want to move beyond empty traditions and discover a living, personal relationship with Jesus. Too often, faith can feel like a list of rules, rituals, or expectations, but this book helps students see that Christianity is not about religion, it’s about transformation.

5. The Christian Gospel

Knowing and Sharing Your Faith

This study brings clarity to the message of the gospel, helping students understand salvation, grace, and the call to share the good news with others boldly and clearly.

Children: Getting Rooted

1. Rooted

Planting Seeds of Faith, Growing Disciples

Children Rooted Discipleship is designed to help our elementary kids build a strong foundation in Christ. Through engaging lessons, fun activities, and age-appropriate discussions, children learn what it means to follow Jesus in their daily lives. Our goal is to plant seeds of faith that take root and grow; teaching kids to love God, understand His Word, and live out their faith with joy and confidence.
