Deacon Celebration Sunday Service
Set Apart to Serve, Commissioned to Lead
On Sunday, August 24th, our church family will gather for a very special occasion—the Deacon Celebration Service of Sister Esther Kang’ethe. This milestone marks not only a new chapter in her personal journey of faith, but also a moment of great joy for our entire congregation as we witness God’s calling upon her life.
Esther has been a faithful servant in the house of the Lord, demonstrating humility, dedication, and a heart that seeks after God in all she does. Through her commitment to prayer, her love for people, and her willingness to serve, she has been an example of Christlike leadership. Now, as she is commissioned as a Deacon, we affirm and bless the work God is doing through her, trusting that He will continue to use her mightily to strengthen the body of Christ.
This service will be a time of worship, thanksgiving, and prayer, as we celebrate Esther’s faithfulness and commit her to God’s guidance in this new season. It is also a reminder for all of us of the importance of servant leadership in the church and the beauty of God raising leaders from within His people.
We invite the entire congregation, family, and friends to join us for this memorable day. Come ready to rejoice, to give thanks, and to stand in unity as we honor and celebrate Deacon Esther Kang’ethe and the faithfulness of God in her life.
